Ayurvedic Treatment for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia

Treatment According To Ayurveda

In allopathy chemotherapy, radiation or surgery is done, in these therapies immature cells are destroyed which destroys mature cells as well. Which causes a bundle of side effects in the body like- Hair fall, indigestion, skin rashes, stress Besides these side effects reoccurrence of disease is a major fear. In the last stage, Allopathy doctors have no solution. Fear of reoccurrence cause severe depression, which further increases the formation of immature cells and the cycle go on.

Ayurvedic Treatment Is Based On Three Factors –
  • Avoid the causes of disease,
  • Take Rasayan/Immunomodulator and treatment according to doshas
  • Panchakarma (Detoxification of the body)

In Ayurveda treatment is given to increase immunity which will help mature cells to fight against cancerous cells. If we change lifestyle then the formation of immature cells will reduce or it may stop.

The ayurvedic treatment takes time of approximately 6 months - 1 year to stop the formation of immature cells.

It lowers our immune system to fight against diseases and increases cell growth.

Treatment according to doshas

In Ayurveda, three disease-causing doshas are mentioned (vata, pitta, Kapha). When these doshas are imbalanced they cause diseases. According to symptoms doshas are treated. In ALL mostly tridoshas and vatapitta are imbalanced. We have to balance the doshas and make the digestive fire to work again.

Ayurvedic treatment for ALL works at the cell level. It cures diseases caused by any factors but the patient has to come at an early stage. Generally patient comes after having his hand at all Allopathy treatments & at that stage, it becomes difficult to treat sometimes, as we all know the side effect of chemo and radio are so much that the immunity of our cells is reduced to zero. So, a patient should explore all options before starting his Allopathic treatment.

Herbal Medicines

These are used according to symptoms.
  • Ashwagandha
  • Amalaki
  • Turmeric
  • Shunthi
  • Pippali
  • Mandukparni
  • Kalmegh

Significant proof focuses on the capacity of TQ (a constituent of cumin) to stop tumor cell multiplication, including colorectal carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, osteosarcoma, ovarian carcinoma, myeloblastic leukemia, and pancreatic carcinoma (Gali-Muhtasib, Roessner, and Schneider-Stock 2006). Researches prove the capacity of TQ to induce free radical arrangement in tumor cells. TQ  was additionally found to inhibit tumor angiogenesis in a xenograft human prostate growth (PC-3) display (Yi et al. 2008) which means cumin can be a real good herb for prostate cancer.

10. GARLIC (Allium sativum)

Garlic belongs to the onion family Alliaceae. Garlic has been utilized widely for its curative, restorative and culinary properties. Garlic's particular qualities emerge from sulfur, which constitutes very nearly 1% of its dry weight. The essential sulfur-containing constituents are γ-glutamyl-S-alk(en)yl-L-cysteines and S-alk(en)yl-L-cysteine sulfoxides.

Garlic is not a major source of essential nutrients but it might add to a few dietary variables with potential medical advantages, including the presence of oligosaccharides, arginine-rich proteins and, based upon soil and developing conditions, selenium, and flavonoids.

Preclinical models give rather convincing confirmation that garlic and its related parts can bring down the rate of breast, colon, skin, uterine, throat, and lung cancer diseases.

A few lipid-and water-solvent organosulfur mixes have been inspected for their antiproliferative viability. Some of the more regularly utilized lipid-solvent allyl sulfur mixes in tumorigenesis examine are ajoene, DAS, DADS, and diallyl trisulfide (DATS). A breakdown of a constituent of garlic “allicin” appears to be necessary for tumor cell inhibition. Many research studies clearly demonstrated the anti-tumor like activity of garlic.

11. GINGER (Zingiber officinale)

Ginger belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and is devoured generally as a flavor as well as a restorative operator. It is also called "root ginger" to differentiate it from other items that offer the name. The constituents of ginger are [6]-gingerol, [6]-paradol, [6]-shogaol (dehydration gingerols), and zingerone. A few Researches have explored ginger's antioxidant properties (Chrubasik, Pittler, and Roufogalis 2005).

Different animal models have been utilized to study the role of ginger in cancer counteractive activity. For instance, Ihlaseh et al. (2006) administered male Wistar rats to N-butyl-N-(4-hydroxybutyl)- nitrosamine (BNN) and uracil salt to instigate tumors looking like human second rate papillary urothelial neoplasia. Rats sustained with a basal eating regimen supplemented with 1% ginger concentrate for 26 weeks had fundamentally less urothelial injuries contrasted with the controls or those encouraged with the eating routine with 0.5% ginger which clearly exhibits ginger has anti-tumor like action.

Ginger concentrates have been appeared to hinder prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) creation to a degree like that of indomethacin (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine).

Another dynamic compound in ginger is accounted to incite apoptosis(cancer cell killing) in human promyelocytic leukemia cells, JB6 cells, an oral squamous carcinoma cell line, and Jurkat human T-cell leukemia cells in a dose-dependent way, this has already been established. (Huang, Ma, and Dong 1996; Lee and Surh 1998; Keum et al. 2002; Miyoshi et al. 2003).

12. ROSEMARY (Rosmarinus officinalis)

Rosemary is a woody herb with fragrant needle-like leaves. Rosemary is local to the Mediterranean district and has a bitter, astringent taste and profoundly sweet-smelling qualities that supplement a wide variety of food items. It contains various possibly biologically active compounds, including antioxidants, for example, carnosic acid and rosmarinic acid.

Because of its high antioxidant activity, unrefined and refined concentrates of rosemary are presently used commercially.

Impressive proof additionally proposes that rosemary concentrates, or its components, can hinder artificially incited tumors.

In an examination, it diminishes in TNF-α-initiated ROS age and NF-κB enactment, and along these lines upgraded TNF-α-incited apoptosis. Carnosol was the best in lessening tumor multiplication. Carnosol is additionally known to instigate apoptotic cell death in high-risk pre-B Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL; Dorrie, Sapala, and Zunino 2001).

13. SAFFRON (Crocus sativus)

Saffron is a flavor obtained from the bloom of the saffron plant local to Southwest Asia. It has been the world's most costly flavor per unit weight. Saffron likely contains in excess of 150 unstable and smell yielding compounds. A carotenoid, α-crocin, includes >10% of dry saffron's mass and is in charge of the rich brilliant yellow shade made when saffron is added to sustenance dishes. Picrocrocin, a severe glucoside, is in charge of saffron's flavor.

There are huge data that focuses on the capacity of saffron to hinder cancer (Abdullaev 2003). The watery saffron solution has been found to hinder synthetically initiated skin carcinogenesis (Das, Chakrabarty, and Das 2004). The two changes in cancer-causing agent bioactivation and tumor proliferation seem to happen. A noteworthy increment in the life expectancy of Dalton's lymphoma-bearing creatures was found in those fed with saffron (Bakshi et al. 2009).

Examination of DNA fragmentation by flow cytometry showed apoptotic cell demise in tumor cells (Mousavi et al. 2009).

14. WHEATGRASS

Wheatgrass is a grass that is grown from germinated wheat. It is a thick, dry grass that looks like hay or straw. It has played a role in natural and holistic medicine for generations. Like other antioxidants, wheatgrass helps to prevent cancer. It could also supplement traditional cancer treatments. A study done in 2017 found that wheatgrass could slow the growth of oral cancer.

Other studies have reached similar discoveries. In another study, it was found that wheatgrass slowed the growth of colon cancer and caused some cancer cells to die as well.

Wheatgrass also improves the side- effects of chemotherapy like reduced TLC and Platelet counts, the same has been proved in a clinical study.

Some research studies have clearly depicted this wonder wheatgrass acts as a better antioxidant then chemical ones as contains vitamins A, C, and E which is bio-available in nature and hence faster absorbed in the body.

Antioxidants reverse the effects of free radicals. These volatile compounds in the body have links to aging and other health issues, including cancer. Antioxidants help fight chronic inflammation, which occurs when the immune system reacts to particular health issues, such as arthritis, stomach problems, skin issues.

So, all these herbs have a role in treating, controlling & rejuvenating the ailing cells of the body. Herbs are made of the same bio-available masses from where we are up off, so the chances of side-effects are minimized. Almost all patients of cancer feel insecure at some point in their treatment. Ayurvedic Treatment for Renal Failure

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Few FACTS Which A Patient Needs To Know!!!

Ayurvedic Treatment for Renal Failure - Kidney’s basic function is to filter blood. When it stops doing the same or the kidney’s functioning reduces, the body exhibits few changes. These changes generally are ignored or in some patients these are abrupt.

The first change that a patient feels is anorexia or low appetite. This change is generally ignored by patients, as in this fast life these are considered minor problems that everybody faces. As we all know food waste becomes toxic metabolite which is to be excreted.

As with the passage of time toxins in the blood increase, the body has a self mechanism of restricting the toxins that it does by reducing the amount of food that an individual can eat. That’s why this symptom appears first, so one should not at all ignore even a simple symptom of low hunger or decreased food liking.

The second symptom a patient generally observes is weakness & muscular cramps.  This symptom is again very common with today’s lifestyle and one tends to go for a few on the counter supplements available.

One would feel better by the supplements but as we know the underlying disease left untreated, the patient generally gets confused & avoids going to the specialist.

The third symptom which the patient may feel is itching. The patient’s skin may become dark as well. As kidneys fail, they are no more able to filter the toxins. The toxins start accumulating in the liver and skin. The skin becomes itchy in some patients.

At times whole body color starts changing. This symptom is usually not ignored & patient consults specialist but again at this moment of time if early detection is made then life can be saved.

Another symptom associated is swelling in feet. This has been observed that Diabetic patient’s feet are more swelled as they lose a lot of protein in their urine. If you closely observe Urine routine examination report, albumin (protein) will be ++++. Also, along with if you check LFT it will show low levels of albumin or protein in the blood.

An optimum level of protein is required in an individual for proper blood circulation. As there is a deficit it has to be fulfilled. So the fluid exchange is there in capillaries, which causes edema/swelling. In Allopathic treatment, diuretics like Frusemide or Torsemide is given to patients to recover from edema. These diuretics give timely relief to the patient but at the same time, they have few side effects like electrolyte imbalance which can cause weakness, constipation and many more adverse symptoms as well.

Ayurvedic Physician, at this point of time, advise Ayurvedic/herbal Diuretics like Gokshura (Nephroactive- plus - https://www.advanceayurveda.in/product/renal-failure-treatment-nephroactive-plus/ ), Varuna (Varuna Caps) & Punnarnava (Punnarnava Plus- https://www.advanceayurveda.in/product/kidney-failure-treatment-punnarnav/)

These herbs will not create any side effects (as allopathic chemicals are causing) and will also treat the underlying cause of disease, as they are helpful in restricting proteinuria as well. Punnarnava is a well-known herb for kidney functioning. Varuna also has a diuretic action.

The next very common symptom is nausea and vomiting. A patient will not be able to digest food and this will lead to other complications. Also, sometimes in End-Stage Renal Disease, fluid accumulation in the stomach can also cause nausea and vomiting. Stomach heaviness and anorexia are characteristic symptoms along with.

Another classical symptom is breathlessness. A patient does not ignore this symptom & straightway goes to a doctor and if investigations are done then a physician can diagnose. But why CKD patients feel breathlessness?

This can be due to two reasons. The first reason is the over-accumulation of fluid in the stomach or lungs. In all CKD patients, urine output decreases slowly and as a patient does not reduce his/her liquid intake it can result in this symptom.

Kidneys not only filter blood but it performs a variety of other functions which help smoother functioning of the body. One such function is the manufacturing of Erythropoietin which helps in the formation of Haemoglobin (Hb) in the body. Generally, it is observed that all CKD patients confirmed low levels of Hb.

They also complain of breathlessness without having other issues. The reason for the same is the low levels of Hb. We all know oxygen & other nutrients are transported through Haemoglobin & blood all over the body. So, if Haemoglobin reduces, the circulation drops and breathlessness occurs. For this, your doctor will recommend you Erythropoietin from outside in the form of injections.

In Ayurvedic renal failure treatment, Ayurvedic medicine improves kidney function. Also, the requirement for erythropoietin injection decreases slowly. Hemoglobin levels also increase. Generally, a high TLC and WBC count is observed in all kidney patients.

This indicates infection, which is generally treated with antibiotics. Our medicine for kidney failure contains few elements which normalize the counts and WBC values. It also controls symptoms which are listed below.

List of anomalies caused due to kidney failure.

  1. Low Urine
  2. Low Haemoglobin
  3. High WBC- TLC
  4. High Potassium
  5. High Phosphorous
  6. High Uric Acid

These anomalies are taken care of with our renal failure treatment supplements. Ayurveda works as a whole to control kidney disease.

High Potassium & Phosphorus is due to overuse of diuretics, or as the excretion is impaired, so these electrolytes start building up in the body. But with Ayurvedic diuretics like Nephro-active plus or Punnarnav plus, there is no such side effect seen. Also, it has been observed that these will start excreting as in a normal individual.

High level of Uric Acid is also observed with CKD patients & this leads to pain/ache all over the body. Again metabolism and excretion is effected here which results in these changes. Generally, a salt named Febuxostat is recommended in this condition which works well but with our renal failure treatment, the excretion improves(of uric acid) and liver which is the manufacturing organ of uric acid is corrected. So, the patient observes improvement in this symptom within a span of 3-6 months.

The ayurvedic treatment works as a whole in improving kidney functioning and reducing creatinine as well. Whereas in Allopathic renal failure treatment, there is a single process that can reduce creatinine which is Dialysis. To mention here, Dialysis is not a treatment.

It just supports until the patient gets a transplant done. The trust of Ayurvedic medicine helps patients to get rid of this dreaded disease which can never be cured with any other pathy or medicine. Even after a few years of transplant kidneys may fail again. So, there is an urgent need for an alternative treatment for kidney failure which is safe and secure and can cure the patient completely.

That is what Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma and Research Centre do. We collect all the patient reports which include blood reports, urine reports, ultrasound, etc. and then discuss the whole case with our team of Ayurvedic Specialists. Accordingly, doctors plan the treatment protocol for our patients which is best suitable for them. The most important thing in our Ayurvedic treatment is trust. how to reduce creatinine

How to Reduce Creatinine

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Before looking for a solution to a problem, we first need to understand the problem and its cause. Here we need to know what is Creatinine?

Creatinine is a waste item that is produced as a by-product of metabolism going on in muscles. The primary function of the kidneys is to filter blood, i.e. to filter Urea, Creatinine & other wastes from the blood and it is expelled through the Urine from our human body. Yet, in the event, because of any reason Creatinine level is found to stay high for a couple of hours, this, by and large, demonstrates impairment in kidney function.

The normal range of Creatinine for males is 0.6 - 1.2 mg/dl. For females, the normal range is somewhat brought down 0.5 - 1.1 mg/dl according to the lab, as females have fewer muscle mass than males.

There are an excessive number of components that can cause large amounts of creatinine levels, viz. as basic as drying out and unnecessary strenuous exercise can cause this, specific pharmaceuticals, kidney infection, thyroid issues, diabetes, and hypertension may likewise be the reasons.

Few individuals who eat an excess of non-vegetarian food and Creatine supplements can encounter high creatinine levels.

  1. Reduce vigorous exercise

Work out/Exercise is useful for a healthy living and well being. However, trying too hard may increase your creatinine levels. In Ayurvedic course readings additionally, strenuous exercise and weight lifting are denied. Since muscle digestion produces creatinine, overusing muscles through strenuous action may raise creatinine levels.

One examination shows that extreme exercise increments creatinine levels as a reaction to expanded muscle breakdown, in any event briefly.

Consult with your specialist about what kind of activity and how much you ought to do. Try walking instead of running & lifting weights. Do yoga and pranayama instead.

  1. Try not to take Supplements containing Creatine

Creatine is a characteristic compound made in your liver. It's shipped to your muscles where it's utilized for vitality. Unused creatine not utilized as vitality changes over into creatinine, a waste item.

Notwithstanding its characteristic frame, creatine is likewise accessible as an oral supplement. A few competitors utilize these supplements to help improve athletic execution. Much the same as common creatine, supplements containing this substance deliver creatinine.

Anybody wishing to diminish creatinine levels ought not to take creatine supplements. There is restricted research on creatine supplements and their general wellbeing.

  1. Reduce Protein Diet

Research demonstrates eating a lot of protein can increment creatinine levels, in any event incidentally. Cooked red meat specifically can influence creatinine. The warmth from cooking causes creatine found in meat to deliver creatinine.

Individuals with diets high in red meat or other protein sources, including dairy items, may have higher creatinine levels than individuals who eat less of those nourishments.

We need to estimate the allowed intake of proteins. The Dietary Reference Intake is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight or 0.36 grams per pound.

This amounts to:

  • 56 grams per day for the average sedentary man.
  • 46 grams per day for the average sedentary woman.

But for a kidney disease patient we need to know protein requirements according to patient condition, so please consult your physician for the same.

  1. Increase Fiber Diet

More research is expected to decide the impact dietary fiber has on creatinine levels. But in a scientific study, a huge decrease in creatinine levels was observed in individuals with chronic kidney disease who increased their fiber intake.

Fiber can be found in numerous food items including:

  • fruits
  • vegetables
  • whole grains
  • legumes
  1. Limit Liquid Intake

Lack of hydration can raise creatinine levels. Liquid admission can likewise be an issue for a few people who have kidney sickness. Converse with your specialist about how much water and different liquids you should drink every day and when is best to drink them.

 Ayurvedic Supplements Can Help

Few herbs have been demonstrated to lessen Creatinine levels. These herbs are Punnarnava(click here punarnav Plus), Gokshura(click here Nephroactive caps.), Varuna, etc.

Numerous herbs have a diuretic action and may help to lessen creatinine levels. Research is also proving that few herbs help in reducing Creatinine levels & also stop the progression of kidney disease.

We at Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma and Research Centre provide efficacious and result in an oriented approach to chronic kidney disease. Our specific products like kidney care Kadha have specific herbs that are needed to restore normal kidney function. For more info on this click here.
