++(applied on swelled joints as a paste). In research, curcumunoids have been isolated from turmeric.  Later-on ‘curcumin’ the active principle was isolated which was found to have free radical scavenging activity and also it inhibits the growth of cancerous cells. More than 2000 scientific papers have been published on turmeric which shows that curcumin has the ability to kill cancer cells while not harming the healthy cells.

3. HOLY BASIL- TULSI (Ocimum sanctum)

The impacts of basil are not constrained to its antimicrobial properties as proof shows that it additionally can bring down oxidative harm in animal models (Dasgupta, Rao, and Yadava 2004).

In a study tulsi vinegar–enriched extracts from several herbs (rosemary, sage, and basil) in soups and salads reduces oxidative stress and improves quality of life measures in women with stage IIIB and IV breast cancer.

The anticancer properties of basil in preclinical examinations are mixed. Research has shown that basil can diminish DMBA-prompted carcinogenesis.

People with hepatitis B are at a risk to develop hepatocellular carcinoma (Fung, Lai, and Yuen 2009; Ishikawa 2010). Chiang et al. (2005) assessed the antiviral activities of basil against a few infections, including hepatitis B. Astonishingly, he found that the fluid concentrate of basil, showed more prominent results against hepatitis B medications( glycyrrhizin and lamivudine).

4. CARAWAY (Carum carvi)

Caraway, surely understood as “meridian fennel” or “Persian cumin,” is found in South east-Asia, Europe, and North Africa. The active components in caraway oil are carvone and limonene. Caraway seems, by all accounts, to be a potent anti-oxidant. As of late, Kapoor et al. (2010) demonstrated that caraway basic oil and oleoresins were better effective antioxidants compared to chemical antioxidants.

Animal models have likewise been utilized to investigate the anticancer capability of caraway in humans from colon to skin tumors. Schwaireb (1993) inspected dietary caraway oil for its consequences for skin tumors incited by DMBA and croton oil in female mice. The quantity of carcinomas in the creatures fed with caraway oil were reduced.   The extracts of caraway helps in advance cancer-causing agent detoxification and along with bring down the growth of tumor.

5. CARDAMOM (Elettaria cardamomum)

Cardamom denotes to herbs inside the Elettaria (green) and Amomum (dark) genera of the ginger family Zingiberaceae. Cardamom is a typical ingredient utilized as a part of Indian cooking and in different parts of Europe. Likewise with numerous flavors, cardamom has been shown to have cancer prevention agent properties. Kikuzaki, Kawai, and Nakatani (2001) inspected extracts from dark cardamom (Amomum subulatum) for their capacity to scavange free radicals.

The capacity of concoction of cardamom to hinder carcinogenesis (cancer development) was discovered by Banerjee et al. (1994), who observed cardamom oil nourishing caused a significant reduction in liver Carcinogenic content in Swiss albino mice. As a matter of fact, cardamom oil influences the catalysts related with xenobiotic digestion & make hindrance to malignancy (Banerjee et al. 1994). Cardamom has additionally been exhibited to diminish azoxymethane-initiated colon carcinogenesis by excellence of its anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative, and pro-apoptotic activities. These discoveries prove that cardamom has anticancer advantages by altering immune-competence.

6. CINNAMON (Cinnamomum verum)

Cinnamon is a flavor obtained from the bark of an evergreen tree which is widely utilized as a kitchen herb in Asian nations. Chemical constituent in cinnamon includes cinnamaldehyde, eugenol, terpinene, α-pinene, carvacrol, linalool, safrole, benzyl benzoate and coumarin. At the point when innate male albino Wistar rats were nourished a high-fat eating regimen with 10% cinnamon bark powder (Cinnamomum verum) for 90 days, oxidative pressure was considerably diminished, as clear by a decrease in TBARS, (a biomarker of free radical generation) (Dhuley 1999).

Cinnamon and thyme were observed to be the most powerful inhibitors of H. pylori development and urease action. The capacity of cinnamon concentrates to stifle the in vitro development of H. pylori, a perceived hazard factor for gastric malignancy, gastric mucosa-related lymphoid tissue lymphoma, and conceivably pancreatic growth, has blended impressive enthusiasm for the potential utilization of this herb to suppress human cancers (Farinha and Gascoyne 2005; Eslick 2006).

7. CLOVE (Syzygium aromaticum)

Clove is derived from blossom buds of the Eugenia caryophyllata tree. A few bioactive components are found in clove, including tannins, terpenoids, eugenol, and acetyleugenol. Cloves are local to Indonesia and are utilized as a part of cooking styles throughout the world. While no examinations have been led in people to date to assess utilization of cloves in tumor counteractive action, a couple of studies led in mice recommend its adequacy, particularly in altering cell detoxification forms.

Kluth et al. (2007) analyzed the impact of a few flavor extracts on stage I and II catalysts in refined human liver carcinoma and human colon adenocarcinoma cells. Evidence additionally exists that clove concentrates may interfere with β-catenin movement and along these lines diminish colon carcinogenesis, (Aggarwal 2010).

8. CORIANDER (Coriandrum sativum)

Coriander is a kitchen herb which is utilized as a part of different dishes which improves the aroma & taste. Almost all parts of the plant are consumable, its new leaves and dried seeds. One of its important constituents is linalool. A few animal model studies prove that coriander seeds can help in controlling the hepatic cancer. Sustaining a 10% coriander seed eating regimen to rats for 12 weeks diminished the capacity of insecticide, to promote lipid peroxidation (Aruna and Sivaramakrishnan 1990; Anila kumar, Nagaraj, and Santhanam 2001)

9. CUMIN (Cuminum cyminum)

Cumin is a blossoming plant in the family Apiaceae and is local toward the eastern Mediterranean area and India. Thymoquinone (TQ) is the most important constituent of dark cumin seed oil. TQ has been accounted for its antioxidant, antimicrobial, calming, and chemo-preventive properties (Allahghadri et al. 2010; Nader, el-Agamy, and Suddek 2010) and to stop carcinogenesis in the fore-stomach. Swiss mice that were nourished with cumin seeds and infused with a chemical to prompt chromosome abnormalities could suppress the variations by 83% contrasted with controls (Aruna and Sivaramakrishnan 1990).

Significant proof focuses on the capacity of TQ (a constituent of cumin) to stop tumor cell multiplication, including colorectal carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, osteosarcoma, ovarian carcinoma, myeloblastic leukemia, and pancreatic carcinoma (Gali-Muhtasib, Roessner, and Schneider-Stock 2006). Researches prove the capacity of TQ to induce free radical arrangement in tumor cells. TQ  was additionally found to inhibit tumor angio-genesis in a xenograft human prostate growth (PC-3) display (Yi et al. 2008) that means cumin can be real good herb for prostate cancer.

10. GARLIC (Allium sativum)

Garlic belongs to the onion family Alliaceae. Garlic has been utilized widely for its curative, restorative and culinary properties. Garlic’s particular qualities emerge from sulfur, which constitutes very nearly 1% of its dry weight. The essential sulfur-containing constituents are γ-glutamyl-S-alk(en)yl-L-cysteines and S-alk(en)yl-L-cysteine sulfoxides.

Garlic is not a major source of essential nutrients but it might add to a few dietary variables with potential medical advantages, including the presence of oligosaccharides, arginine-rich proteins and, based upon soil and developing conditions, selenium and flavonoids.

Preclinical models give rather convincing confirmation that garlic and its related parts can bring down the rate of breast, colon, skin, uterine, throat, and lung cancer diseases.

A few lipid-and water-solvent organo sulfur mixes have been inspected for their antiproliferative viability. Some of the more regularly utilized lipid-solvent allyl sulfur mixes in tumorigenesis examine are ajoene, DAS, DADS, and diallyl trisulfide (DATS). A breakdown of a constituent of garlic “allicin” appears to be necessary for tumor cells inhibition. Many research studies clearly demonstrated the anti-tumor like activity of garlic.

11. GINGER (Zingiber officinale)

Ginger belongs to Zingiberaceae family and is devoured generally as a flavor as well as a restorative operator. It is also called “root ginger” to differentiate it from other items that offer the name. The constituents of ginger are [6]-gingerol, [6]-paradol, [6]-shogaol (dehydration gingerols), and zingerone. A few Researches have explored ginger’s antioxidant properties (Chrubasik, Pittler, and Roufogalis 2005).

Different animal models have been utilized to study the role of ginger in cancer counteractive activity. For instance, Ihlaseh et al. (2006) administered male Wistar rats to N-butyl-N-(4-hydroxybutyl)- nitrosamine (BNN) and uracil salt to instigate tumors looking like human second rate papillary urothelial neoplasia. Rats sustained with a basal eating regimen supplemented with 1% ginger concentrate for 26 weeks had fundamentally less urothelial injuries contrasted with the controls or those encouraged with the eating routine with 0.5% ginger which clearly exhibits ginger has anti-tumor like action.

Ginger concentrates have been appeared to hinder prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) creation to a degree like that of indomethacin (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine).

Another dynamic compound in ginger, is accounted to incite apoptosis(cancer cell killing) in human promyelocytic leukemia cells, JB6 cells, an oral squamous carcinoma cell line, and Jurkat human T-cell leukemia cells in a dose-dependent way, this has already been established. (Huang, Ma, and Dong 1996; Lee and Surh 1998; Keum et al. 2002; Miyoshi et al. 2003).

Picrocrocin, a severe glucoside, is in charge of saffron’s flavor.

There is huge data which focuses on the capacity of saffron to hinder cancer (Abdullaev 2003). Watery saffron solution has been found to hinder synthetically initiated skin carcinogenesis (Das, Chakrabarty, and Das 2004). The two changes in cancer-causing agent bioactivation and tumor proliferation seem to happen. A noteworthy increment in the life expectancy of Dalton’s lymphoma-bearing creatures was found in those fed with saffron (Bakshi et al. 2009).

Examination of DNA fragmentation by flow cytometry showed apoptotic cell demise in tumor cells (Mousavi et al. 2009).

Wheatgrass is a grass that is grown from germinated wheat. It is a thick, dry grass that looks like hay or straw. It has played a role in natural and holistic medicine for generations. Like other antioxidants, wheatgrass helps to prevent cancer. It could also supplement traditional cancer treatments. A study done in 2017 found that wheatgrass could slow the growth of oral cancer.

Other studies have reached similar discoveries. In another study, it was found that wheatgrass slowed the growth of colon cancer and caused some cancer cells to die as well.

Wheatgrass also improve the side- effects of chemotherapy like reduced TLC and Platelet counts, the same has been proved in a clinical study.

Some research studies have clearly depicted this wonder wheatgrass acts as a better  antioxidant then chemical ones as contains vitamins A, C, and E which is bio-vailable in nature and hence faster absorbed in body.

Antioxidants reverse the effects of free radicals. These volatile compounds in the body have links to aging and other health issues, including cancer. Antioxidants help fight chronic inflammation, which occurs when the immune system reacts to particular health issues, such as arthritis, stomach problems, skin issues.

So, all these herbs have a role in treating, controlling & rejuvenating the ailing cells of body. Herbs are made of the same bio-available masses from where we are up off, so the chances of side-effects are minimized. Almost all patients of cancer feel insecure at some point of their treatment. Ayurvedic Treatment for Renal Failure

Few FACTS which a patient need to know!!!

Ayurvedic Treatment for Renal Failure – Kidney’s basic function is to filter blood. When it stops doing the same or kidney’s functioning reduces, body exhibits few changes. These changes generally are ignored or in some patients these are abrupt. First change that a patient feels is anorexia or low appetite. This change is generally ignored by patient, as in this fast life these are considered minor problems that everybody faces. As we all know food’s waste becomes toxic metabolite which is to be excreted. As with the passage of time toxins in the blood increase, body has a self mechanism of restricting the toxins that it does by reducing the amount of food that an individual can eat. That’s why this symptom appears first, so one should not at all ignore even a simple symptom of low hunger or decreased food liking.

Second symptom a patient generally observes is weakness & muscular cramps.  This symptom is again very common with today’s lifestyle and one tends to go for few on the counter supplements available. One would feel better by the supplements but as we know the underlying disease left untreated, the patient generally gets confused & avoids going to the specialist.

Third symptom which the patient may feel is itching. Patient’s skin may become dark as well. As kidneys fail, they are no more able to filter the toxins. The toxins start accumulating in the liver and skin. The skin becomes itchy in some patients. At times whole body color starts changing. This symptom is usually not ignored & patient consults specialist but again at this moment of time if an early detection is made then a life can be saved.

Another symptom associated is swelling in feet. This has been observed that Diabetic patient’s feet are more swelled as they loose a lot of protein in their urine. If you closely observe Urine routine examination report, albumin (protein) will be ++++. Also, along with if you check LFT it will show low levels of albumin or protein in blood. An optimum level of protein is required in an individual for proper blood circulation. As there is a deficit it has to be fulfilled. So the fluid exchange is there in capillaries, which causes edema/swelling. In Allopathic treatment, diuretics like Frusemide or Torsemide is given to patients to recover from edema. These diuretics gives timely relief to the patient but at the same time they have few side effects like electrolyte imbalance which can cause weakness, constipation and many more adverse symptoms as well. Ayurvedic Physician, at this point of time advise Ayurvedic/herbal Diuretics like Gokshura (Nephroactive- plus – https://www.advanceayurveda.in/product/renal-failure-treatment-nephroactive-plus/ ) , Varuna (Varuna Caps) & Punnarnava (Punnarnava Plus- https://www.advanceayurveda.in/product/kidney-failure-treatment-punnarnav/)

These herbs will not create any side effects (as allopathic chemicals are causing) and will also treat the underlying cause of disease, as they are helpful in restricting proteinuria as well. Punnarnava is well known herb for kidney functioning. Varuna also has a diuretic action.

Next very common symptom is nausea and vomiting. Patient will not be able to digest food and this will lead to other complications. Also, sometimes in End Stage Renal Disease, fluid accumulation in stomach can also cause nausea and vomiting. Stomach heaviness and anorexia are characteristic symptoms along with.

Another classical symptom is breathlessness. Patient does not ignore this symptom & straightway goes to a doctor and if investigations are done then a physician can diagnose. But why ckd patients feel breathlessness?

This can be due to two reasons. First reason is the over-accumulation of fluid in stomach or lungs. In all Ckd patients urine output decreases slowly and as patient does not reduce his/her liquid intake it can result in this symptom.

Kidneys not only filter blood but it performs a variety of other functions which help smoother functioning of body. One such function is manufacturing of Erythropoietin which helps in the formation of Haemoglobin (Hb) in body. Generally it is observed that all CKD patients confirmed low levels of Hb. They also complain of breathlessness without having other issues. The reason for the same is low levels of Hb. We all know oxygen & other nutrients are transported through Haemoglobin & blood all over the body. So, if Haemoglobin reduces, the circulation drops and breathlessness occurs. For this your doctor will recommend you Erythropoietin from outside in the form of injections.

In Ayurvedic renal failure treatment, Ayurvedic medicine improves kidney function. Also the requirement for erythropoietin injection decreases slowly. Haemoglobin levels also increase. Generally a high TLC and WBC count is observed in all kidney patients. This indicates infection, which is generally treated with antibiotics. Our medicine for kidney failure contains few elements which normalize the counts and WBC values. It also controls symptoms which are listed below.

List of anomalies caused due to kidney failure.

  1. Low Urine
  2. Low Haemoglobin
  3. High WBC- TLC
  4. High Potassium
  5. High Phosphorous
  6. High Uric Acid

These all anomalies are taken care off with our renal failure treatment supplements. Ayurveda works as a whole to control kidney disease.

High Potassium & Phosphorus is due to overuse of diuretics, or as the excretion is impaired, so these electrolytes start building up in the body. But with Ayurvedic diuretics like Nephro-active plus or Punnarnav plus, there is no such side effect seen. Also, it has been observed that these will start excreting as in a normal individual.

High level of Uric Acid is also observed with CKD patients & this leads to pain/ache all over the body. Again metabolism and excretion is effected here which results in these changes. Generally a salt named Febuxostat is recommended in this condition which works well but with our renal failure treatment, the excretion improves(of uric acid) and liver which is the manufacturing organ of uric acid is corrected. So, the patient observes improvement in this symptom within a span of 3-6 months.

Ayurvedic treatment works as a whole in improving kidney functioning and reducing creatinine as well. Where as in Allopathic renal failure treatment, there is a single process which can reduce creatinine which is Dialysis. To mention here, Dialysis is not a treatment. It is just a support till patient gets transplant done. The trust on Ayurvedic medicine helps patient to get rid of this dreaded disease which can never be cured with any other pathy or medicine. Even after few years of transplant kidneys may fail again. So, there is an urgent need of an alternative treatment for kidney failure which is safe and secure and can cure the patient completely. That is what Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma and Research Centre does. We collect all the patient reports which include blood reports, urine report, ultrasound etc. and then discuss the whole case with our team of Ayurvedic Specialists. Accordingly doctors plan the treatment protocol for our patients which is best suitable for them. The most important thing in our Ayurvedic treatment is trust. If patient trust us then we can definitely cure the disease. Here are a few testimonies of patients benefitted with Ayurvedic Treatment at Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma and Research Centre.

Herbs for diabetes

Herbs for diabetes

There are many herbs which are very effective in curing diabetes and controlling associated problems. A lot of research has been done on all these herbs for their anti-diabetic action. No adverse effect has been reported so far with these herbs on long term use even. Nature has its own ways of treating disorders. When there is a will, there is a way. There is definitely a way but we are not willing and determined to follow it. Ayurveda is a 5000 year old science which is now being researched and the modern world uses the term “Scientific Ayurveda”. Few herbs with researches have been mentioned here!!

The Gymnema leaf or its concentrate is accounted to be the most commonly used herb for diabetic patients. Potential antidiabetic ingredients of Gymenma are gymnemic acids, gymnemosides & gurmarin (Porchezhian and Dobriyal 2003). Especially, the impact of Gymnema sylvestre extract on sugar metabolism has been proposed to be optional to enhancing glucose take-up in peripheral tissues and increasing insulin secretion and β cell number in the pancreas (Dey, Attele, and Yuan 2002). Means gymnema helps to revive and rejuvenate beta cells of pancreas which make insulin. Gymnema helps to mask the taste impression of sweet, diminish the take-up of glucose from the small intestine, enhance glucose digestion, diminish glycosylated haemoglobin(three months sugar levels- HbA1c), and enhance insulin secretion and dyslipidemia(lowers lipids levels as well) (Baskaran et al. 1990; Porchezhian and Dobriyal 2003). This herb does a lot of multitasking for your health. I think this is one of the best herbs for diabetes patients.

Cinnamomum cassia (Cinnamon, Dalchini)

Cinnamon is coming up as an excellent supplement for diabetes patient. The bio-active ingredients thought to be in charge of anti-diabetic impacts are polyphenol type-A.  In a Research Study done by T Crawford (2009) assessment of 109 diabetic patients who were already treated with eating routine and exercise, they were found to achieve normal glucose levels as indicated in their HbA1c report. Different researches additionally recommended advantageous impacts on glucose and lipids as well(Khan et al. 2003; Anderson 2008; Mang et al. 2006).  One of the best home remedy for diabetic patients.

  1. barbadensis (Aloe vera)

Aloe vera has likewise been utilized as a part of the restorative treatment of diabetes in India and the Arabian landmass. The gel, which is acquired from the inward segment of the leaves, may contain glucomannan, a water-dissolvable fiber that apparently has hypoglycemic and insulin-sensitizing activities (Vuksan et al. 1999, 2000).  Little scale clinical research trials proposed a change in fasting glucose levels with the extract of Aloevera(Bunyapraphatsara et al. 1996; Yongchaiyudha et al. 1996; Yeh et al. 2003).

Acacia arabica (Babool)

This is a common tree found in India and Asean countries which has been used more often to clean the teeth (used as datun in India). The plant extract is known for its antidiabetic properties, as it helps to discharge insulin. In research on mice its hypoglycemic activity has already being established.

Aegle marmelos (Bengal Quince, Bael, Bilva) It is sacred fruit which is widely used in India as fresh fruit juice or dried. In trials, its fruit and root both showed hypoglycemic  & anti-amoebic action. Its extract acts like insulin as it helps in the restoration of blood sugar and body weight to normal levels in mice and was therefore recommended as a potential hypoglycemic agent.

Allium cepa (Onion)

Dried onion powder has shown hypoglycemic action in diabetic rabbits. Allium cepa is likewise known to have cancer prevention agent and hypolipidaemic activity. At the point when diabetic patients were given single oral measurements of 50 g of onion juice, it fundamentally controlled post-prandial glucose levels.

Azadirachta indica (Neem)

Hydro-alcoholic concentrates of Neem indicated hypoglycemic action in streptozotocin treated rats. Besides having anti-diabetic action, this plant additionally has antibacterial, antimalarial, antifertility, hepatoprotective and cancer prevention agent impacts.

Caesalpinia bonducella (karanj)

Both the watery and ethanolic extracts demonstrated powerful hypoglycemic action in constant kind II diabetic models. The antihyperglycemic activity of the seed concentrates might be because of the obstructing of glucose retention.

Eugenia jambolana (Indian gooseberry, Jamun)

In India, decoction of portions of Eugenia jambolana is utilized as family solution for diabetes. This additionally frames a noteworthy constituent of numerous natural supplements for diabetes. Antihyperglycemic impact of watery and alcoholic concentrate and powder demonstrates decrease in blood glucose level. The concentrate of jamun mash demonstrated the hypoglycemic movement in streptozotocin initiated diabetic rats. The oral administration of the concentrate brought about increment in serum insulin levels in diabetic rats in a Research.

Momordica charantia (Bitter gourd, karela)

Momordica charantia is usually utilized as an antidiabetic and antihyperglycemic specialist in India and other Asian nations. Concentrates of bitter gourd seed, leaves and entire plant appeared to have hypoglycemic impact in different mice models.

Ocimum sanctum (Sacred basil)

It is commonly known as Tulsi. Since ages, this plant is known for its therapeutic properties. The watery concentrate of leaves of Ocimum sanctum demonstrated the noteworthy decrease in glucose level in both typical and alloxan initiated diabetic rats. Noteworthy reduction in fasting blood glucose, uric acid, total amino acid, total cholesterol, triglyceride and total lipid showed the hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic impacts of tulsi in diabetic rats. This plant additionally demonstrated antistress, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antitumor, gastric antiulcer movement, cancer prevention agent, antimutagenic and immunostimulant exercises. This plant saves our body from multiple diseases & is also worshipped in Hindu religion.

Phyllanthus niruri (Bhuiawala)

It is normally known as Bhuiamla. Customarily, it is utilized as a part of diabetes therapeutics. Methanolic concentrate of Phyllanthus niruri was found to have strong cancer prevention properties. The concentrate likewise reduced the glucose levels in alloxanized diabetic rats in a research. The plant also demonstrates calming, antimutagenic, anticarcinogenic, antidiarrhoeal action.

Pterocarpus marsupium (Vijayasar)

how to reduce creatinine

how to reduce creatinine

Before looking for a solution to a problem, we first need to understand the problem and its cause. Here we need to know what is Creatinine?

Creatinine is a waste item that is produced as a by-product of metabolism going on in muscles. The primary function of the kidneys is to filter blood, i.e. to filter Urea, Creatinine & other wastes from blood and it is expelled through Urine from our human body. Yet, in the event, because of any reason Creatinine level is found to stay high for couple of hours, this by and large demonstrates impairment in kidney function. The normal range of Creatinine for males is 0.6 – 1.2 mg/dl. For females, the normal range is somewhat brought down 0.5 – 1.1 mg/dl according to lab, as females have less muscles mass than males.

There are an excessive number of components which can cause large amounts of creatinine levels, viz. as basic as drying out and unnecessary strenuous exercise can cause this, specific pharmaceuticals, kidney infection, thyroid issues, diabetes and hypertension may likewise be the reasons.

Few individuals who eat excess of non-vegetarian food and Creatine supplements can encounter high creatinine levels.

  1. Reduce vigorous exercise

Work out/Exercise is useful for healthy life and well being. However, trying too hard may increase your creatinine levels. In Ayurvedic course readings additionally, strenuous exercise and weight lifting is denied. Since muscle digestion produces creatinine, overusing muscles through strenuous action may raise creatinine levels.

One examination shows that extreme exercise increments creatinine levels as a reaction to expanded muscle breakdown, in any event briefly.

Consult with your specialist about what kind of activity and how much you ought to do. Try walking instead of running & lifting weights. Do yoga and pranayama instead.

  1. Try not to take Supplements containing Creatine

Creatine is a characteristic compound made in your liver. It’s shipped to your muscles where it’s utilized for vitality. Unused creatine not utilized as vitality changes over into creatinine, a waste item.

Notwithstanding its characteristic frame, creatine is likewise accessible as an oral supplement. A few competitors utilize these supplements to help improve athletic execution. Much the same as common creatine, supplements containing this substance deliver creatinine.

Anybody wishing to diminish creatinine levels ought not take creatine supplements. There is restricted research on creatine supplements and their general wellbeing.

  1. Reduce Protein Diet

Research demonstrates eating a lot of protein can increment creatinine levels, in any event incidentally. Cooked red meat specifically can influence creatinine. The warmth from cooking causes creatine found in meat to deliver creatinine.

Individuals with diets high in red meat or other protein sources, including dairy items, may have higher creatinine levels than individuals who eat less of those nourishments.

We need to estimate the allowed intake of proteins. The Dietary Reference Intake is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, or 0.36 grams per pound.

This amounts to:

  • 56 grams per day for the average sedentary man.
  • 46 grams per day for the average sedentary woman.

But for a kidney disease patient we need to know protein requirement according to patient condition, so please consult your physician for the same.

  1. Increase Fiber Diet

More research is expected to decide the impact dietary fiber has on creatinine levels. But in a scientific study huge decrease in creatinine levels was observed in individuals with Chronic kidney disease who increased their fiber intake.

Fiber can be found in numerous food items including:

  • fruits
  • vegetables
  • whole grains
  • legumes

  1. Limit Liquid Intake

Lack of hydration can raise creatinine levels. Liquid admission can likewise be an issue for a few people who have kidney sickness. Converse with your specialist about how much water and different liquids you should drink every day and when is best to drink them.

  1. Ayurvedic Supplements Can Help

Few herbs have been demonstrated to lessen Creatinine levels. These herbs are Punnarnava(click here punarnav Plus), Gokshura(click here Nephroactive  caps.), Varuna etc.

Numerous herbs have diuretic action and may help to lessen creatinine levels. Research is also proving that few herbs they help in reducing Creatinine levels & also stop the progression of kidney disease.  We at Dr. Aggarwal’s Ayurvedic Panchakarma and Research Centre provides efficacious and result oriented approach to chronic kidney disease. Our specific products like kidney care Kadha has specific herbs which are needed to restore normal kidney function. For more info on this click here.

How to cure Diabetes in Ayurveda

In Ayurveda, Diabetes is compared with Prameha. Ayurveda has altogether different approach for the treatment for Diabetes. Lifestyle Management along with Medicine plays a very crucial role in controlling the disease and curing it. Ayurvedic treatment has ability to treat and reverse diabetes no matter how high the sugar level is. First we have to diagnose the type of diabetes. According to modern approach- there are two types –

  1. Type I- Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus.
  2. Type II – Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus.

How to cure Diabetes in Ayurveda:-

Also, we should diagnose that whether the patient is suffering from Insulin deficit or insulin resistance?

Doctors all over the world eye on Fasting blood Sugar levels or HbA1c, but we at Ayurveda24 focus on Serum Insulin levels of patient often ignored by Diabetologist and Allopathy Medicine doctors. Doctors at Ayurveda 24 check this parameter and accordingly plan the treatment protocol. The levels are generally found to be poor in 80% of diabetes patients as they are suffering from Insulin deficit. This means Beta cells of Pancreas are unable to manufacture Insulin despite of the fact that patient is using the first and second line of Oral Hypoglycemic Agents like Metformin & glimepiride etc. With Ayurvedic Treatment for Diabetes, Insulin levels rise and Diabetic Levels come under control. Slowly and steadily when Diabetic levels are in control we can reduce Ayurvedic medicine and ultimately stop the medication completely because we have increased the Insulin levels in blood naturally.

Patients who already have good Insulin levels suffer from Insulin receptor defect. These patients need to adopt a strict lifestyle and diet to control Diabetes. Younger obese patients who have a sedentary lifestyle fall in this category.

There are a lot of cases of Type 1 Diabetes patients who are taking Insulin. They are also sometimes suffering from the same defect, which can be identified by Serum Insulin test. Type 1 patients generally are not able to secrete enough amount of Insulin which can metabolize the food.

Alternative Medicine and Ayurveda is gaining importance worldwide due to its role in the treatment of diseases and also maintaining overall health. Patients have experienced ill effects of having all the Allopathic medicine for diabetes control. More and more diabetic patients are now incorporating alternative methods in their daily routine like intake of Karela juice & other anti-Diabetic agents like Jamun Juice etc. But these are just mediums to manage the sugar levels. Diabetes can easily be reversed if the patient is able to understand few things. First, the most important thing is diet & obviously causative factor of the disease. Of all the causative factors identified, one which is most common and basic is sedentary lifestyle and obesity. Second one is immunity. Nowadays in Successful & Stressful India, people are more into perfectionism and idealism which increases stress and leads to many diseases, one of which is Diabetes. Prolonged stress can damage one’s immunity & can also lead to immune system disorders. More and more people in urban cities are suffering from thyroid related disorders these days.

One particular treatment or medicine can’t be followed blindly for all kinds of Diabetic people. There are four steps in treating Diabetes.

  1. Identify root cause of disease.
  2. Nothing works alone, we have to give wholesome treatment.
  3. First Ayurvedic Medicine is given as an adjuvant, then slowly and steadily Allopathic medicine is tapered off.
  4. Maximum one year treatment in 90 % of cases.

Long term use doesn’t cause any complications or side effects. Diabetes Herbal treatment is adopted nowadays by many people worldwide.  There are a lot of herbs which help to control and eliminate diabetes. We have treated a lot of cases with our diabetes herbal medicine and supplements. Few case studies have been discussed here.

  • As we all Know pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive and deadliest type of all cancers, studies indicate that one steroidal withaferin A stimulates cell death in a number of pancreatic malignancies cell lines. Withaferin A also appears to target and limit the activity of a specific protein (Hsp90) that binds with and helps other proteins mature that then stimulate and promote the growth and survival of cancer cells. Lab and animal research (using grafted human pancreatic tumors) shows that it blocks Hsp90’s cancer-promoting activity in at least four different ways. kidney Failure Treatment – (Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Risk factors and Treatment)

Abnormal functioning of kidney causes ESRD.

ESRD occurs when kidney is not in state of proper functioning and life depends on dialysis and transplant. This type of kidney failure is permanent. It can’t be fixed. Diabetes and Hypertension are main causes of ESRD. Other reasons of ESRD are some reactions to medicines, injuries and some are born with us. Dialysis or a kidney transplant t is necessary to live in ESRD.

Ø             Weakness

Ø             Heaviness on head

Ø             Decreased amount of urination

Ø             Vomiting

Ø             Loss of weight

Ø             Tiredness

Ø             Pain in bones

Ø             Disturbance in menstrual periods

Ø             Change in colour of skin

Ø             Changes in nail

Ø             Swelling of the hands & feet

Ø             Numbness in the hands & feet

Urine & blood test should be done in ESRD. These tests measure levels of creatinine and urea nitrogen in the urine and blood.

Blood test: Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (e GFR) is for creatinine.

GFR is the flow rate of filtered fluid through the kidneys from the renal glomerular capillaries into the Bowman’s capsule / unit time.

If estimated GFR is less than 15 then it is considered to be ESRD.

Risk factors

The persons who are suffering from following are at the high risk of ESRD:

Ø             Chronic kidney disease (CKD)

Ø             Injury or trauma to the kidneys

Ø             Major blood loss

Different complications are associated with kidney disease that sometimes contribute to worsen the condition of the patient.

Ø             Swelling

Ø             Hypertension

Ø             Infertility

Ø             High risk of infection

Ø             Rise in level of potassium

Difference between CKD & ESRD

CKD occurs when there is permanent damage to the kidney. Kidney may still work well enough for patient to live, even if they have some damage.

CKD can lead to kidney failure (ESRD) when functioning of both the kidney get worse. In ESRD the kidney do not work well enough for you to live.

 Can ESRD be reversed?

In ESRD, nephrons are damaged in large number which leads to low kidney function. The damaged part of kidney is able to be repaired with the help of right treatment.

How can ESRD be reversed?

In modern medicines, there are 2 choices for patients with ESRD i.e. Dialysis & Kidney transplant.

There are different Alternative Treatment options available. Ayurveda  provides an alternative of dialysis & kidney transplant. In Ayurvedic  kidney treatment, patient’s kidney disease is controlled by herbal medicine, diet plan & lifestyle.

Ayurveda helps to recover the kidney from ESRD. There are many herbs which repair the renal parenchyma & stop further damage of kidney. Due to this, kidney will slowly and gradually start its functioning as before. Ayurvedic medicine also decrease the level of urea & creatinine.

Glomerular filteration rate decreases because of ESRD which results in the accumulation of excess water, salt & toxic products in the body. Ayurvedic herbs also help to eliminate these toxins from the body.

Ayurvedic treatment for kidney failure  just not works to suppress the symptoms as allopathic treatment. It works to eliminate the root cause of disease. It helps to treat hypertension & diabetes which are major cause of ESRD. Natural herbs which are used to prepare ayurvedic medicine has best properties to overcome the bad effects of disease & to treat the disease. These all facts are scientifically proven.

Some ayurvedic herbs which help to treat ESRD are Crataeva nurvela, Boerhaavia diffusa & Tribulus terrestris).

Prevention from ESRD

ESRD is not preventable in some patients. The leading cause of CKD is Diabetes and Hypertension. By controlling these 2 factors kidney can be prevented from ESRD.

Kidneys can be protected by following these healthy habits:

Ø             Have regular checkups with doctor.

Ø             Eat a low fat, low salt diet.

Ø             Exercise regularly.

Ø             Avoid tobacco.

Ø             Drink alcohol only in moderation.
