Herbs to Soothe sore throat
Eladi Vati is an Ayurvedic herbal tablet used in treating cold, cough, sore throat & haemorrhage and bleeding disorders(Rakta Pitta). It is also used in hoarseness of voice (Swarabheda), vomiting (Chhardi), Shwasa roga (asthma and breathing problems), etc. It has Nourishing, calming and aphrodisiac properties. It contains all the herbs to soothe a sore throat.
Benefits-
Respiratory disorders
It is widely used in problems related to a respiratory system like- cold, cough(Kasa), asthma (Shwasa), respiratory disorders involving difficulty in breathing, hiccough (Hikka), altered voice (Svarabheda)/hoarse voice. It has herbs to soothe a sore throat.
It can be taken with Vyoshadi Vati and Sitopladi Churan.
Bleeding disorders
It acts very well in bleeding disorders. It is used in symptoms like- haematemesis(blood vomiting), hemoptysis (Rakta nishteevana)– spitting blood from mouth, bleeding from nose, bleeding in the stool. It has herbs to soothe sore throat & immediately arrest bleeding.
It can be taken with Manjishthadi Kshaya, Punarnavadi Mandoor.
Fever
It acts very well in fever. It is used in viral fever. It is used in vomiting, unconsciousness, fainting due to fever.
It can be taken with Godanti Bhasam, Sanshamni Vati for better results.
Spleen
It is used in splenomegaly. It relieves the symptoms caused by splenomegaly like- Anorexia, Tastelessness, etc.
It is taken along with Arogyavardhani Vati and Punarnavadi Mandoor.
Nausea and Vomiting
It is used in nausea and vomiting. Vomiting may be due to overeating & indigestion.
Kamdudha Ras and Mayurpichchha Bhasam are also suggested along with it.
Vertigo and Syncope
It is used in vertigo due to stress. It can be taken along with Saraswatarishta and Ashwagandharishta.
Rheumatoid arthritis
It is used in rheumatoid arthritis. It relieves pain, swelling, and stiffness in rheumatoid arthritis.
It can be taken with Yograj Guggul or Singhnad Guggul and Punarnavadi Mandoor.
Intercostal neuralgia, pleurodynia, and cachexia
It is used in intercostal neuralgia- a painful disorder of the nerves running between the ribs and is caused by damage to one of those nerves and/or loss of function of that nerve, Pleurodynia-severe pain in the muscles between the ribs or in the diaphragm.
It should be taken along with Sitopladi Mixture, Abhraka Bhasam, Shringa Bhasam, and Pushkarmoola Churna.
Effect on Tridosha
Eladi Vati balances Pitta and Vata.
