Description
Punnarnavadi Guggul is a special ayurvedic formulation that has anti-inflammatory, anodyne, and anti-arthritic properties. It is mainly used for rheumatoid arthritis, gout, hernia, sciatica, frozen shoulder, backache, urinary bladder pain, and tailbone pain. Punnarnavadi Guggul is a diuretic medicine used for ascites and edema treatment. It improves blood circulation, reduces inflammation, and exerts protective effects on the heart, kidneys, and liver. It helps to reduce the fluid accumulation in cells, tissues, or serous cavities. Therefore, it can be used in all types of diseases, which result in abnormal fluid accumulation in the body. It is prescribed in Ayurvedic Treatment for Swelling on feet and pain.

BONES AND JOINTS
It is useful in problems of bones and joints like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, Sciatica, Frozen, Shoulder, backache, neck pain, spondylosis (cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis), spondylitis. It relieves pain, swelling, and stiffness in the bones. In cases of Kapha-type arthritis, the joints are stiff and swollen and may feel cool to touch. The pain is usually more prominent in the morning and maybe relieved with movement. Punnarnavadi Guggul is a traditional formula useful for releasing this excess Kapha from the body.
URINARY SYSTEM
It is widely used in problems related to the urinary tract. It has diuretic and demulcent properties. It removes the deep-seated Kapha from the tissues. It is best in detoxifying and rejuvenating in action. It supports the healthy elimination of liquids. Hence it is widely used in renal problems, less urination, excessive urination. It improves fluid circulation, aiding in the removal of stones and toxins and restoring balance in the urinary and reproductive systems.
It can be used with GOKSURADI KSHAYA in urinary retention or excessive urine.
KIDNEY
Punnarnavadi guggul assists in detoxifying the overburdened kidneys and in eliminating excess fluid. It is a well-established kidney tonic. This guggul formulation contains beta-sitosterol which is helpful in heart conditions, inflammations and reduces all the three vitiated doshas.
It is widely prescribed in renal treatments like kidney stones & obstruction of urine. It is l in swelling on feet due to renal failure.
LIVER
Punnarnavadi guggul is a good hepatoprotective. It is used in problems of the liver like ascitis. It is a cardiotonic and anti hyperlipidemic.
DIABETES
It is indicated in diabetes mellitus. It is used with Chandra Prabha Vati and gokshuradi guggul.
SKIN
It is prescribed in skin problems like skin discoloration, itching, discharge with Kishore guggul.
CYSTS
It is widely used in cysts. It relieves the cysts like fibrocystic breasts. It decreases the swelling and secretions caused by cysts in a particular area.
