Effect on Tridosha
Haridra is kapha-vata-nashaka(Because of its hotness, it balances Vata and Kapha).
Pittasarak by Ushna veerya, Pitta shamak(pitta lowering action) by Tikta rasa.
Because of its guna like dryness, pungent and bitter taste, it helps to balances Kapha. Due to bitterness, it balances Pitta as well.
Hence it balances all the three Doshas.
